*** From Update, 23 October 2004

The current todo list includes;

(1) Windows GPI 2 update. There is about 200 line of code to be added for GPI 2 to work on Windows.

(2)	Improving the handling of small skirmishes. Armies with only one or two units may not complete the battle. There is a stall condition still being investigated.

(3)	The collapsing of order in the transition between movement, charge and melee/close-combat could be refined more. There are focal points that units clump towards. The debug game variables introduced in the example 'battle.txt' file.

(4) More documentation. The rules of the game are currently in the source code.

*** From Update, 28 May 2005

Far too long since the last update, this new update has integrated the Noble Toolkit from the Noble Ape Simulation. The next big todo is getting a Windows version of the GPI 2, and then following the todo list below.

*** From Update, 9 November 2005

A step backwards to monochrome to show the board buffer and resolve the crunch-case where the units were unable to move in tight quarters.

*** From Update, 11 December 2005

To-date battle.c has been relatively unreadable. This update expanded battle.c into combatant and unit related functions as an initial clean-up for improving game logic.

This source code has been released as a beta. A full version of the source will be made available soon.
